Crop update, Northern Alberta. Barley, oats, wheat, canola and PEAOLA
Crop tour number two. At this point we are more able to gauge the affect the hot dry conditions have had on the crop. Our One PEAOLA field seems to be suffering the worst of all the crops due to the fact it seems to have missed all of the rain showers. The other two PEAOLA fields are no screaming hell but they are much better more on them in another video. The barley seems to have taken the heat relatively well and is starting to fill. The wheat handled it the best at this point, the oats and canola look good as well and we expect to harvest an average crop at this point. We are however a few weeks away from putting anything in the bin so anything can happen. Thanks for watching.
