Tobacco Harvester

The purpose of an automated tobacco harvester is to harvest tobacco leaves using revolutionized methods that reduce cost and labour. This machine uses an automatic two-row, rear-mounted receptacle to pluck the leaves from the plant as they are struck by the defoliating unit (spinning rubber spirals on two bars). The top leaves are then removed and sent into a rear-facing storage area via a vertical conveyor belt system. This process drastically reduces the time spent manually plucking and spearing tobacco leaves.
