Sugar Beet Harvester

A sugar beet harvester is a self-propelled machine that is used for harvesting only sugar beets. A typical machine will contain 6-row harvesting units but the number of rows can vary from 1-6. The sugar beet harvester uses a shear lifter system to lift beets from the earth and in good conditions, it is capable of harvesting 20-24 acres of sugar beet per day. The machine is hydraulic and includes row finders and grab roll screens which work to remove dirt clods and rocks.
