Grain Auger
A grain auger is used in agriculture to move grain from trucks and grain carts into permanent grain storage bins. Grain augers are powered by an electric motor through either a tractor through the power take-off or an internal combustion engine, which would then be mounted on an auger. It moves the grain upwards – the one end the grain is fed upwards and the upper end lets the grain fall into the bin. In addition to the typical grain augers, there is also a specialized type of grain auger that's used to transfer grain into a seed drill called a "drill fill". There are several different types and sizes that are available depending on the farming operation.
