86% of winter wheat has headed, compared to 85% on average, while 9% is harvested, compared to 5% last year and 12% on average. All winter wheat condition categories held steady on the week at 30% good to excellent, 26% fair, and 44% poor to very poor.
95% of spring wheat is planted, compared to 93% on average, and 80% has emerged, compared to 82% on average. 71% of spring wheat is called good to excellent, compared to 62% a year ago.
51% of U.S. pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent condition, up 1% from last week.
