79% of the winter wheat crop has headed, compared to 78% on average, with 30% rated good to excellent and 44% called poor to very poor, both unchanged on the week. 88% of spring wheat is planted, compared to 58% a year ago and 88% on average, with 67% emerged, compared to 72% on average.
50% of U.S. pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent condition, up 4% on the week.

In the first two weeks of June, NASS will gather information about this season’s crop production, supplies of grain in storage and livestock inventory. The information will help producers, suppliers, traders, buyers and others make informed business decisions. The results will be available beginning
June 27 in the Hogs and Pigs report and June 30 in the Acreage and Grain Stocks reports.
