EMILI has released a new video showcasing digital agriculture careers. This video, along with a series of stories that EMILI publishes monthly throughout the year, highlights analysts, writers, engineers and others who contribute to Canada’s agriculture sector from offices in the city, as well as individuals who operate equipment and collect and analyze data on the farm.
As agriculture continues to adopt innovative technologies, people with diverse skills and experiences are needed to access the full potential of these tools. STEM programs, career panels, and work-integrated learning opportunities provide learners from diverse backgrounds with education, training, and work experience to meet the changing needs across the digital agriculture ecosystem. While individuals working in agriculture come from a variety of backgrounds, they share a common interest in growing and strengthening Canadian agriculture to ensure an environmentally and economically sustainable future for generations to come.
