The Texas Longhorns are back at Canadian Western Agribition.
It has been 24 years since the breed has been seen at Agribition and there's a lot of excitement with the breed being back at the show.
Levi Jackson, Chairs the Beef Committee and says a real highlight this year is they've brought in a Trophy Steer from Jim Reeves and the Johnson family at Big Horn, Wyoming.
"He has a horn span of just over 9 feet from tip to tip. So, he'll be pretty impressive. We were hoping we'd have him for the whole week to be on display but he'll be there during the time that the Longhorns are in."
The Canadian National Texas Longhorn Show goes tonight (Monday) at 6 o’clock, with the Sale tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2 o’clock in the John Deere Sale Arena.
