SÉBASTIEN LÉVEILLÉ, EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE AGRI-BUSINESS DIVISION OF LA COOP FÉDÉRÉE, APPOINTED CEO OF SOLLIO AGRICULTURE

Montréal — Gaétan Desroches, CEO of La Coop fédérée, is proud to announce the appointment of Sébastien Léveillé to the position of CEO of Sollio Agriculture. In addition to this appointment, Sébastien Léveillé will also continue his duties as Executive Vice-President of the Agri-business Division of La Coop fédérée.

Sébastien Léveillé has a bachelor’s degree in agri-food management and economics from Université Laval (2003) and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke’s management school (2015). In 2002, he joined La Coop fédérée’s network as General Manager of La Coop Pont-Rouge, located in the Québec City area, where he achieved a successful financial turnaround and a return to profitability. In 2008, he joined La Coop fédérée as Director of Marketing. Given his successful track record, he was appointed Vice-President, Business Development and Communications, and then Executive Vice-Président, Agri-business, in 2014.
 
As CEO of Sollio Agriculture, Sébastien Léveillé will lead a group of 1,100 employees in facilities all across the country.
