AFS Connect is a connectivity solution that utilizes elements of Case IH farming system technology to link a user’s farm, fleet and data. It is available on any Case IH combine or tractor than can be fitted with telematics technology.
The Fleet Management portal allows owners, managers and operators to monitor a machine’s data, including fuel consumption, engine speed, temperatures, hours of use, and even when service is due—all in near-real time, and all available via in-cab display, web portal or an app.
All equipment monitored by My Case IH has its data constantly recorded and analyzed and updated automatically.
Users can receive customized phone text alerts should the vehicle be found to be operating outside of any pre-determined parameters, such as if the engine rpm is too high—which aids in scheduling maintenance.
Because all data is recorded and sent to the Cloud, real-time data users can analyze a working machine to discover any possible issues. If permission is granted by the user, data can be shared to the machine dealer to quickly resolve any possible issues. Galla pointed out that all data gathered belongs solely to the equipment owner.
