Among the notable achievements, Steve Razo clinched the title for Heaviest Jack O Lantern with a colossal pumpkin weighing an impressive 235 pounds. Adam Steiner, hailing from Sterling, Ohio, made his mark with the Heaviest Bushel Gourd, an astounding 323-pound entry.
In the fiercely competitive Giant Pumpkin category, the top ten entries boasted an average weight of an astonishing 2,136 pounds. The Andruze brothers, representing Williamsville, New York, secured the third spot with their massive pumpkin, tipping the scales at 2,245.5 pounds.
The second-place honor was bestowed upon Rick Kisamore from Atwater, Ohio, whose colossal pumpkin weighed 2,266.5 pounds. Notably, this entry not only secured his position but also established a new Ohio state record for the Heaviest Giant Pumpkin, surpassing his son Doug's previous record.
However, the pinnacle of success in the Giant Pumpkin category belonged to Dave Stelts from Enon Valley, Pennsylvania. His remarkable pumpkin, weighing a jaw-dropping 2,376.5 pounds, claimed the top position, underscoring the exceptional skills and dedication of pumpkin growers.
