The crop insurance Harvested Production Reports deadline is coming up on Monday, December 2.
David Van Deynze is the vice-president of innovation and product support with Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation (MASC).
"It's one of the requirements that our producers have when they carry insurance with us," he said. "They need to report what their yields are for the year, so we're asking them yield per acre as well as some bin information."
The report can be submitted by paper or online, which has its benefits.
"The data is into our computer system almost immediately and they get a notification if we believe, based on their numbers, that they're in a claim position," explained Van Deynze.Click here to see more...
