Farmers got a short window of favorable conditions at the beginning of the past week to complete their fall harvest. The Wisconsin Ag Statistics Service issued another extended crop/weather summary on Monday, which noted that high grain moistures continued to impede grain storage as driers were going full blast as crops came in. Back-to-back winter storms then slowed or halted fieldwork for the rest of the week.
Crop scouts estimate that 66 percent of the corn for grain was harvested as of Sunday.
