Indiana Pork is funded in part by the Pork Check-Off program and supports the state’s 3000 family pork farmers. As part of the Pork CheckOff program the organization strives to harness the resources of producers to capture opportunity, address challenges and satisfy customers. Our vision? Responsible. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading a small dedicated staff, the Executive Director will have overall fiscal responsibility for the organization, overseeing expense and income and ensuring that activities bring value to the producers of Indiana. The Executive Director will need to cultivate strong relationships with industry partners while communicating our platform to the public, media and detractors. As the organization leader, the Director must also ensure that staff and board members take
an active role in promoting both our product and producers.
Qualified candidates will have at least 8-10 years of leadership experience. Policy development, legislative, budget/fiscal management, strategy and vision development experience are also required. We need a strong communicator and relationship builder with a passion for agriculture and non-profit work.
