Grain Farmers of Ontario, the province’s largest commodity organization, representing Ontario‘s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean and wheat farmers, is now accepting applications for the Grain Farmers of Ontario Legacy Fund Scholarship program.
The Grain Farmers of Ontario Legacy Scholarship encourages the pursuit of higher education in any area of study that will benefit agriculture or agri-food and supports the development of future leaders in these areas.
“We believe and value the importance of building, defending and promoting an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable business environment that enables our agricultural community members the opportunity to prosper,” said Brendan Byrne, chair, Grain Farmers of Ontario. “Our core values are based on our commitment to elevate and support our community using every possible available resource that can help each individual succeed.”
The Legacy Scholarship is open to students accepted or enrolled in any accredited post-secondary College or University program. Proof of College/University enrollment is required when applying.
