Gov. Brad Little will meet with leaders and stakeholders at the Governor’s Water Summit on Monday, Aug. 7, to discuss trends in Idaho’s water supply.
The summit will take place in the Idaho State Capitol Lincoln Auditorium, located at 700 W. Jefferson St. in Boise, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is open to the public and will be live streamed through Idaho in Session, available here. An agenda for the event is available here.
“Water is the foundation of public health, economic prosperity, outdoor recreation, and Idahoans’ overall quality of life. How we manage – or mismanage – our water resources will determine our success or failure as a state,” Little said. “We have made a significant investment in ensuring the long-term viability of Idaho’s water resources. This summit presents an opportunity to do more for the people of Idaho and strengthen our water supply for future generations.”
