Adams says her message to the crowd was rural Alberta is a good home for small scale agriculture and business.
"Whether it's a side business or a full scale business, I think there's a lot of potential for people to make a living out here."
Adams says they've got the greenhouse up, the ground is broken and they're a lot farther ahead than last year with the help of good neighbours.
The panel of speakers at the Trade and Tourism Expo also featured former Foothills MP and past President and CEO of CropLife Canada, Ted Menzies, who spoke about the exponential growth opportunities for the agri-food sector by further processing commodities grown in the area.
