For superior ease of operation, the shredder’s hardened pilot cone draws the auger into the stump while 19 mm (0.75 inch) thick, AR500 steel blades efficiently cut the stump. With the SS30 model, operators can bore up to 508 mm (20 inches) into the ground to remove stump feeder roots.
The stump shredder was also built to provide customers with cost and time savings. Carbide tool replacement parts are not needed for the attachment, and maintenance is only required every 1,000 stumps, yielding lower operating costs and maximum uptime.
The new stump shredder attachment is backed by John Deere parts, service and warranty coverage. To learn more, visit www.JohnDeere.com or contact your local John Deere dealer.
