St. Louis, MO (AgPR) July 5, 2016 -- Roach Ag Marketing Ltd (roachag.com) is sponsoring 13 seminars on the 2016 market outlook and pricing strategies throughout the Midwest and Mid-South this month. Roach Ag Marketing has grown dramatically in recent years and company founder John Roach and company President Brian Roach are regular guests on Iowa Public TV’s popular “Market to Market” farm show hosted by Mike Pearson.

Ag consulting veteran and former Roach Senior Economist Dan Manternach will be the presenter at nine events, while John Roach and Staff Consultant Joe Aiello will be presenting the same program at four other events. The two-hour long programs will cover the latest outlook for corn, soybeans, wheat, cattle and hogs. They will also share the  Roach system’s long-term track record for identifying key buy and sell signals and how best to profit from the system in coming months.

“The timing will be good for these meetings,” says Manternach, “because with the meltdown we saw in corn and soybean futures on July 5, markets are now assuming a monster harvest and we could see seasonal lows come in ahead of harvest instead of traditional harvest lows." He notes he'll be armed with USDA's supply/demand updates to boot, and explain why markets in a free-fall this soon could be overestimating supply while underestimating global demand.”

The presenters will also show the “big picture” for global agriculture over the next several years and why Roach Ag believes that despite recent volatility in markets, the worst is likely behind for grain prices because the outlook for global demand growth is good and even modest threats to production in any key producing region of the world could re-ignite bull market conditions. Attendees will have ample opportunity to ask whatever other questions they may have.

Even as an executive with Roach competitors, Manternach had been a longtime admirer of John Roach’s technical system for identifying buy and sell signals on price charts. Why? Because, as he puts it, “It helps avoid the emotional roller coaster of greed and fear that often derail marketing plans lacking  the discipline imposed by a mathematical system tied to chart action.” He will present long-term track records for the Roach system and notes, “The big profit advantage I’ve seen with John Roach’s system is that it allows Roach consultants to help farmers manage both kinds of market risk; the risk of lower prices for what isn’t yet priced and the riskhigher prices for  what has been sold; i.e. opportunity cost.”

The charge to attend is $20 and refreshments will be available. To make sure they have a seat and avoid lines at the registration table, area farmers are urged to visit roachag.com/seminars to pre-register for any of the following seminars:
