Cattlemen’s College, the renowned educational event sponsored by Zoetis, is set to make a triumphant return as part of CattleCon24, scheduled from January 31 to February 2 in sunny Orlando, Florida. Drawing in more than 1,000 attendees annually, this event serves as a hub for networking, idea exchange, and education.
Michaela Clowser, director of producer education with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, shared the excitement for the event's agenda. "We have a packed schedule featuring industry experts discussing a variety of trending topics. We are excited to offer educational sessions all three days of the convention."
The journey begins on January 31 with Dr. Clay Mathis, head of the Animal Science department at Texas A&M University, delivering the keynote address. Dr. Mathis will explore how recent challenges within the industry have paved the way for opportunities to enhance ranching systems.
The 2024 Cattlemen’s College schedule is designed to empower cattle producers with the knowledge to improve and expand their herds, covering vital areas such as nutrition, reproduction, genetics, sustainability, biosecurity, and herd health.
