Case IH Partners With FFA for Vintage Tractor Raffle

Aug 23, 2019

Case IH is proud to support the Windsor, Illinois, FFA chapter’s restoration of a Farmall® tractor and fundraising efforts. Once complete, the fully restored vintage Farmall 706 tractor will be raffled off, with one lucky winner taking home the classic piece of agricultural history.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with a local FFA chapter,” said Ryan Schaefer, Case IH senior sales director for North America. “FFA isn’t just a student organization — it’s helping shape future thought leaders from all walks of life and define the future of agriculture.”

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased from the FFA table within the Case IH booth during the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, from August 27 to 29, for $10 each or three for $20. All proceeds from ticket sales go toward supporting the Windsor FFA chapter.

“Fundraisers are essential for small FFA chapters like ours,” said Windsor High School ag teacher and FFA advisor Kelly Barringer. “Our goal to empower students to be versatile, lifelong learners starts with projects like this Farmall restoration and continues with trips to national student conferences. Raffling off this piece of agricultural history ensures that our students can grow and develop without taking on any additional financial burdens.”

Raffle tickets will continue to be sold until the restoration project is complete. For more information or to schedule an interview, visit the Case IH booth and FFA table at the 2019 Farm Progress Show.
