Backyard Poultry Seminar Set March 29 In Denton

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Denton County office will hold a backyard poultry producers seminar from 9 a.m. to noon, March 29 in modular building 7 at the Denton Bible Church campus, 300 E University Dr, Denton.

Registration is $15 is at the door the day of the event.

“Backyard poultry production has become a big deal in Denton County,” said Brandon Boughen, AgriLife Extension agent for Denton County. “It seems like everyone has or wants a few chickens.”

Dr. Greg Archer, AgriLife Extension poultry specialist, College Station, will discuss “everything from housing to egg production,” Boughen said.
