Growers, producers and certified crop advisers can access an updated agronomic calendar for information on upcoming workshops, conferences and programs offered by educators, professors, scientists and agronomists with Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

The calendar, at, was created and is maintained by members of the Ohio State University Agronomic Crops Team and offers information on a variety of field crop programs, said Greg LaBarge, an Ohio State University Extension field specialist and one of the leaders of the Agronomic Crops Team. OSU Extension is the outreach arm of the college.

In addition to listing upcoming agronomy update programs, intensive crop workshops and webinars, the calendar provides information on programs that offer pesticide applicator license recertification, certified crop adviser and agricultural fertilizer applicator certification credits, LaBarge said.

The calendar, which is continually updated with new information, also includes links and contact information for the workshops and programs, including any associated costs to attend the programs.
