The AgCareers.com Roundtable offers a distinctive industry-specific educational and networking experience focused on the talent pipeline in agriculture and food. This unparalleled event brings together industry and education stakeholders to address challenges and exchange ideas for success in the agriculture and food sector.
This year marks the 22nd annual conference focused on talent recruitment and retention. AgCareers.com will host the 2024 conference at the University of Minnesota on July 24 & 25. Participants will gather for two full days of educational sessions at the McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis campus.
Attendees are invited to kick off the event early on July 23 with the tour of the University of Minnesota-St. Paul Agricultural Experiment Station. This exclusive tour, with limited availability and including transportation, is reserved for the first 50 registrants. Attendees will discover what a research farm looks like in the middle of a metropolitan area with nearly four million people.
“We’re thrilled to welcome attendees to campus to learn more about how we train the next generation of agricultural experts,” said Joleen Hadrich, Associate Dean for the Minnesota Agricultural Experience Stations and CFANS Research & Outreach Centers. “Tour participants will learn more about how phenotyping identifies diseases before they can be visually detected, how we take Kernza from the field to the brewery or grocery shelf, explore display gardens, and finish with ice cream from the University Dairy Salesroom,” added Hadrich.
