AFSC set to serve up The Dish at Ag Expo

Risk management is the focus of The Dish at AgExpo in Lethbridge, hosted by Agriculture Financial Services. This special event, which takes place February 27, features Dr. Camille Ryan as keynote speaker as well as a panel discussion on real-world strategies to help producers manage risk effectively.

During her keynote, Dr. Ryan will explore the social, economic and environmental risks that are shaping the future of Canadian agriculture. A panel discussion focused on real-world strategies to help producers manage risk effectively follows the keynote presentation. Panelists include Daniel Graham, AFSC manager of AgriStability and Pricing, and Kerby Redekop from Red Earth Farming Co Ltd.

Building on the keynote, Daniel Graham, CPA, manager of AgriStability and pricing at AFSC, will offer a practical look at how Alberta’s producers can navigate these challenges. His spotlight presentation will highlight AFSC’s business risk management (BRM) programs and the tools available to support producers.
