Expect more from perennial weed control with NEW Cirpreme™

New herbicide to hit the market spring 2017

December 1, 2016 (Calgary, Alta.) – Spring wheat and barley growers in the black soil zone can expect a new selective, post-emergent control herbicide hitting the market on limited release in spring 2017. Dow AgroSciences is pleased to announce the debut of new spring wheat and barley herbicide Cirpreme™ to help producers combat their most difficult annual and perennial broadleaf weeds.

“With Arylex™ active, Cirpreme offers growers failsafe control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds,” says Mark Alberts, Dow AgroSciences Product Manager. “With the added GO benefits of Arylex active, Cirpreme is a spring wheat and barley grower’s best option for controlling tough broadleaf weeds such as Canada thistle, dandelion and perennial sow thistle.”

Following the success of Arylex active family members Pixxaro and Paradigm, Cirpreme herbicide is highly effective on big and small weeds, in large or small crops. It’s a powerful, low-dose, highly concentrated formulation of Group 4 and Group 2 active ingredients that provides multi-mode of action control of many key weeds.

Cirpreme is the next entry into the perennial broadleaf segment from Dow AgroSciences and is the best solution for tough annual and perennial broadleaf weeds.
