There are 339 exhibitors at Crop Production Show this year, a slight increase from the previous year. Hurlburt says some exhibitors have changed the size of their space to accommodate more businesses to set up at the venue.
“It’s going to be a mix of what you’ve seen before and some very new items,” she stated.
Several presentations will be featured throughout the three days at the NuFarm Information Theatre, located in Hall B at Pairieland, along with the announcement of this year’s inductees into the Saskatchewan Agriculture Hall of Fame on Tuesday morning at 11:30. The Saskatchewan Mustard and Oat Development Commissions will be holding their Annual General Meetings in Hall E at Prairieland. SaskOats will have its AGM on Wednesday from 8:45 a.m. to noon and SaskMustard will have its meeting on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Their agendas can be found on the SaskOats and SaskMustard websites.
Regarding prices of admission, a one-day pass is 22 dollars, a two-day pass is 40 dollars and a seminar on Thursday called “The Business of Farming” featuring Shaun Haney from RealAgriculture is 50 dollars, which includes admission and lunch.
