Pasture Raised Pork??? Absolutely!!! The Idaho Pasture Pigs are a new breed developed to be the perfect meat pig! They graze the ground like a horse, do not root up the pastures like traditional pigs, mature to a butcher weight of 200 - 250 in about 10 months eating primarily grass, have a delicious, juicy, sweeter meat then traditional pork due to the fact that they are eating grass, are extremely gentle, and are very easy to raise! Does this sound like the perfect pig to you?
Our pigs live outside in their A-frame houses all year long and even farrow outside in them. We can't say enough good things about these pigs: they are great mothers, have wonderful personalities, are extremely gentle and easy to work with, and are true grazing pigs! Visit our website to learn more about these amazing pigs.
We sell 4 - 6 week old Registered breeding piglets for $400 each or barrows for $150 each. We occasionally have an older gilt or a bred gilt for sale.
