I am currently foster caring a dog for a family that could not care for him anymore due to their finances and the fact they lived in small apt. Looking to rehome this Australian Beagle Cattle Dog. His name is Scooby-Doo and is 1 year old and has all vaccinations up to date. We are not able to keep him due to his size and because we have another smaller dog in the house. The dog is probably about 60% trained and weighs about 80lbs. The vet said he is overweight and is on a diet and needs to be taken for walks. His normal weigh should be about 70 lbs or less. He knows commands like sit, paw and goes to the bathroom outside. He does not bark while he is sleeping in his cage even when you get up in the middle of the night and turn on lights. This type of dog has a high energy level and requires at least 30 minutes of exercise (walking, running or just playing). The previous owner did not train him all that well in other manners, so he occasionally steals stuff, pulls, etc. But if you invest some time to train him or find a trainer, he can become an even better dog. This pet would be a great farm dog. We just need him to go to a good home.
We would like to get a rehoming fee of $500 to over for any costs we have incurred with him for his most recent vaccinations, vet visit.
- Scooby-Doo has all his vaccinations up to date including current ones with Banfield. I can show you all that info.
- He is not neutered yet.
