Duration: Full-time employment to fulfill a 1-year maternity leave (with the potential to become a permanent position)
Compensation: $59,500
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing specific projects for the organization. Projects may include organizing regional workshops, focus groups and industry meetings, managing the development of resources and tools, and managing research projects including knowledge transfer activities. Other activities will include writing project proposals, reports, and communications (press releases, email-blasts, and social media content) and general outreach. Travel within Canada will be required. The project manager will work in collaboration with other staff and report directly to the Executive Director.

Abilities:
- Strong ability to interact effectively and communication (verbally and in writing) in English with a variety of team members, partners and clients
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in French (verbal and in writing) considered an asset
Education:
- College or University Degree
- Project Management certification considered an asset
Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management
- Experience in a non-profit environment, and in agriculture and/or business management considered an asset
