Taryn Milton grew up on a cattle and grain operation in northeast Saskatchewan, where her family still farms. In 2015, she graduated with her bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Regina. She worked in the journalism field for a year after graduating and then went into the communications field for three and a half years.
