The NPK Credits Calculator app determines the fertilizer worth of manure and/or planting after a legume crop. This is calculated through a process where credits are subtracted from the initial recommendation for a fields fertilizer needs by analyzing several different factors. For manure, the app takes into account what livestock produced the manure, what state of matter it is, and the amount of time between application and incorporation of the manure. For legume credits, the app considers the type of forage crop it is, the soil type, and the stand density. With these results, farmers can save money on purchasing additional fertilizer for their fields and save time that might have otherwise been spent on over-application. This app is free to download and is available to Android and IOS operating systems.
