Bunge Expanded its Global Volunteer Program for World Food Day
Viterra employees were part of the Bunge Global Volunteer Program for World Food Day 2025. This year is particularly significant as it was the first-time former Viterra employees are participated, reflecting "One Bunge.”
The month-long program, running throughout October, involved employees across approximately 148 cities in 26 countries. Teams dedicated their time and resources to support local food security, benefiting over 100 organizations. Each site identified initiatives aligned with education and food security, allowing employees to contribute directly to their communities.
“This World Food Day reminds us that when we work hand in hand with our communities, we can make a real difference. We are embodying our 'We Do What’s Right' value by uniting an even larger global team to do our part to tackle the crucial challenge of food security,” said Gabriella Herzog, Global Social Impact Director at Bunge.
“It is incredibly inspiring to see our colleagues across Bunge dedicate their time and energy to supporting food security. Their actions reflect not only our values, but also a shared belief that building stronger food systems starts locally, with each of us contributing where we can.”
