Chris Soules - Price of FarmingThe two very different worlds, reality TV and that of agriculture and farming are mingling while this season of The Bachelor is on television sets across North America.

Chris Soules, or “Prince Farming” as he’s more affectionately known, is a farmer from Arlington, Iowa. Before becoming the bachelor, he participated as a contestant on The Bachelorette.

The 32 year old holds degrees in Agricultural Studies and Agronomy from Iowa State University and is currently the Farmland Investment Specialist at Summit Farms, and also works his own farm, Soules Farms.

Summit Farms is located in Alden, Iowa and is involved in crop, pork, and beef production, including the Summit Charloais, their “crown jewel” of their cattle operations.
