Register now for the Forage Focus tour and trade show

The Ontario Forage Council (OFC) is excited to announce that the Forage Focus event will take place on Friday, December 6th, beginning at 9:30 AM. This year’s Forage Focus is part of the Canadian Forage & Grassland Association’s (CFGA) Annual Conference, which will be held in Guelph.

The event will serve as the post-conference tour, focusing on the theme, Hay as a Cash Crop. The day kicks off in Gorrie at Marcrest Hay Storage, where participants will explore a hay drying system and a cutting-edge hay storage facility.

Following this, attendees will visit the Marcrest Manufacturing facility, home to the production of the renowned Bale Baron. After lunch, the tour will head to Marhaven in Drayton to view the Chinook hay dryer and hay press.

At this stop, a panel discussion featuring key figures from Ontario’s hay markets will highlight business opportunities for hay producers. Whether you’re thinking of growing your hay operation or starting fresh, this event offers valuable insights.

A trade show will also take place at Marhaven during the afternoon session.

Forage Focus is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Lunch, provided by Marcrest Manufacturing, is included for all participants.

Interested in showcasing your products or services? Sponsorship and trade show spaces are still available, but spots are limited and are expected to fill up quickly.

For those interested in reaching an audience of forage producers, Forage Focus is a great platform for advertising.
