Cadman’s manure applicator is engineered to apply liquid manure via sidedress to row crops such as corn in fields as long as a half-mile.
It’s a one-person operation, and the hose deployment and retrieval is controlled remotely from the applicator tractor.
“The Cadman Hard Hose is the only system of this size and calibre on the market, so it’s generating a lot of attention,” said Balberman.
“We are putting the manure nutrients in the soil when the crop can best utilize it.”
Balberman said the Precision Ag Conference is the perfect event to show off the technology, and like much of the innovation on display today, “bottom line, this will make you money!”
Company VP Craig Cadman made a presentation on “Nutrient Applications in the Growing Season” earlier today at the event, which runs until 5 pm at the Best Western Lamplighter in London, Ontario.
