Six Students Chosen to Lead National FFA for 2025-26
The National FFA Organization has announced its 2025-26 National Officer Team, elected during the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo held in Indianapolis. The newly elected officers represent a diverse group of student leaders from Delaware, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Tennessee.
Out of 37 qualified candidates, six members were selected after an extensive interview process conducted by the National FFA Officer Nominating Committee. These students will serve as the official representatives of the National FFA, promoting agricultural education and leadership development nationwide.
Trey Myers from Oklahoma will serve as National President. Lilly Nyland from Michigan was chosen as National Secretary. The vice presidents include Joey Nowotny from Delaware for the Eastern Region, Jael Cruikshank from Oregon for the Western Region, T. Wayne Williams from Tennessee for the Southern Region, and Claire Woeppel from Nebraska for the Central Region.
Throughout the next year, the officers will travel across the United States, meeting FFA members, educators, and agricultural leaders. Their responsibilities include leading leadership workshops, interacting with government officials, and representing FFA at national and international events.
