The assembly and distribution centre will be Mahindra’s first in Canada.

“By supporting the start-up of Mahindra Canada-Est, Centre de distribution autorisé, the Government of Canada is reaffirming its willingness to support Canadian businesses that are fuelled by innovation and to direct resources to initiatives that will have the greatest positive impact on the lives of Canadians,” Minister Bains said in a release.
Quebec media outlets reported that the Mahindra facility will work together with Bercomac, a local company that makes blades, mowers and snowblowers for tractors.
According to reports, the tractors will arrive in Quebec by shipping container from overseas plants.
After final assembly and distribution in the Quebec plant, tractors will be shipped to other parts of the province, Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
