Lean Hogs Commodity Update for the Week Ending Feb 17, 2023

Lean hogs closed out the week of Feb 13, 2023 at 85.275. Between last week’s price of 83.325 and today’s numbers, the price of lean hogs increased by 2.3%.

On Feb 14, 2023, lean hogs was at its highest point with a price of 87.25.

In the span of a month, the price of lean hogs dropped by 3.2%. At this time last month, they were at 88.125 and have since dropped to 85.275.

Lean hogs have also seen price drops since last year. Around this time in 2022, the prices were at 89.2. The change in prices from last year equal a decrease of 4.4%.
