Approximately 300 Kroger stores spread across seven states will promote “Fresh From Florida” sweet corn using an online coupon and in-store advertising.
The new partnership is expected to reach more than 200,000 consumers and expose them to the fresh agricultural products that come out of Florida.
This year, Florida has been pushing their “Fresh From Florida” brand of products and have developed partnerships around the world.
In March, Florida developed a relationship with Puerto Rico to bring them fresh strawberries, a few days ago they expanded their promotions in Canada and about a week ago Commissioner Putnam announced that “Fresh From Florida” exports have reached an all-time high.
As of now, the “Fresh From Florida” initiative is engaged in partnerships with more than 12,000 stores from 65 retail partners in 27 countries globally.
Florida’s agricultural sector contributes about $120 billion to the economy and provides jobs for nearly two million people.
