Advanced Features for Smoother Operations and Greater Productivity
Kubota’s M7-4 series tractors bring advanced technology and efficiency to modern operations.
This series, an upgrade from the previous 2 series, introduces three powerful models: M7-134, M7-154, and M7-174, with engine horsepower of 130, 150, and 170 respectively, and PTO horsepower of 100, 120, and 140.
Farms.com recently connected with Kevin Cobb, senior ag field operations manager with Kubota, to learn more about this new series.
A key improvement in this series is the enhanced transmission system. The M7-4 now features a 30-speed semi-power shift transmission, an upgrade from the previous 24-speed version.
The KVT continuously variable transmission is available on the two larger models, offering operators smoother and more efficient performance.
The new Xpress Restart feature on semi-power shift transmissions allows operators to stop the tractor by applying both brakes, hold it in neutral, and then quickly resume operations.
Combined with the auto-shift function, this feature significantly improves productivity, especially for livestock producers in baling applications.
Further enhancements include a multi-function steering option, enabling operators to adjust the steering ratio with three customizable positions. This reduces the number of steering wheel rotations required, offering greater comfort and control.
The stationary PTO option allows equipment to be operated in a stationary position, with control accessible from outside the cab, adding convenience and flexibility.
Kubota’s M7-4 series combines power, precision, and ease of use, making it a valuable addition to any farm.
