Quick Attach Tech Allows You to Mount Header in 10 Seconds
Those interested in a class 8 combine are in the right place.
Fendt’s IDEAL 8T combine could be exactly what you are looking for, with some new technology to make your harvest as efficient as possible.
To learn more about the IDEAL 8T, Farms.com recently met with Kevin Forth, senior tactical marketing manager with Fendt.
“One of the greatest things about the Ideal combine is its 16-foot-long twin rotor machine, the longest in the industry,” says Forth. “That of course then leads into also the longest cleaning system in the industry.”
The combine also has one of the largest large grain tank and high-speed unloading system of six bushels per second.
Another feature is an industry-exclusive quick attach system for headers, called AutoDock.
“With a tap of a button in about 10 seconds, you can attach or detach your header,” adds Forth.
Forth elaborated that four cylinders extend to connect your drive lines, your multi coupler and your header lock pins—tap a switch in the cab and away you go.
New for 2025 is the IDEAL Air Blaster which uses an air compressor already on the machine to remove dust and debris from the header.
You can manually hit a button for the Air Blaster to remove the debris or set a timer for it to engage automatically.
