Innovative equipment boosts efficiency and farm safety
GSI has introduced three new grain system products to help farmers work faster, safer, and more efficiently. The products were presented at the 2025 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, alongside GSI’s new Mixed Flow Dryers that improve grain quality and operating efficiency.
The first product is the 15,000-bushel-per-hour, 14-inch VersaLoop chain conveyor. It speeds up harvest with greater capacity and features customizable sections, unload options, and transitions. According to GSI Product Manager Shaun Sutton, VersaLoop can span longer distances without extra supports, reducing the need for catwalks or towers.
The second product, GSI Air Systems, uses variable speed control to save energy, reduce grain damage, and cut blower noise in half. These systems use pneumatic conveying to move grain on a cushion of air and are built with cast-iron rotary air locks, positive displacement blowers, and thermally protected motors. Product Manager Alan Lockwood says they are designed to adapt to different layouts and expand as farm needs grow.
The third product is GSI QuickBolt Tower Stairs, which provide commercial-grade strength and enhanced safety features, including nonslip steps and sturdy handrails. Available in switchback or wraparound configurations, they arrive with preassembled landings and stringers for faster installation.
