Egg Farmers of Ontario Launches its Egg Contest

Apr 02, 2014

By Amanda Brodhagen,

Decorate a virtual egg online and support school nutrition programs. That’s the idea behind Egg Farmers of Ontario’s “Eggs Factor” contest.

For every decorated egg, the producer organization will donate one dozen eggs to school nutrition programs.

Egg Farmers of Ontario has partnered with Huron Perth Eat and Learn and the eggs will go towards supporting its 66 programs in elementary and secondary schools.

The contest website offers colouring tips to decorate the perfect egg along with a gallery of completed entries and egg recipe ideas.

A panel of three judges will select the finalists in each of the six age categories. Online voting will be conducted to select the winners.

Participants will have the chance to win one of 12 iPad minis.

The contest is open until April 22nd.
