Demco-Welker Farms Collab Delivers Big Buddy

Innovative 1300 Dagger Cart Highlights Teamwork and Advanced Technology

Demco recently introduced the Big Buddy grain cart, a product of collaboration with Big Equipment, the makers of Big Bud tractors, Titan Tires, and the well-known Montana-based Welker Farms.  

The project began when the Welker family decided to rebuild and modify their iconic Big Bud tractor, and inquired about adding a Power Take-Off (PTO) system, Elijah Vande Griend with Demco told Farms.com. 

During discussions with Demco, the idea emerged to create a matching high-capacity grain cart that could complement the tractor while supporting the farm’s operational efficiency. 

The result was the Big Buddy grain cart. 

The cart features Demco’s Harvest Vision Package, which includes multiple cameras, advanced lighting systems, side and rear marker lights, and powerful work lights to ensure visibility and safety during harvest operations.  

The front of the cart is equipped with a bull pull hitch, adding extra stability and durability during field operations. 

To enhance mobility and traction, the Big Buddy uses Titan LSW tires with a custom print.
