D.C. Ads Take Aim at HSUS
By Amanda Brodhagen, Farms.comOne group is questioning where the Humane Society of the U.S. (HSUS) donations are going. Humane Watch recently took out billboard ads which can be found on the walls of Union Station in Washington D.C. which ask “Where’s the funding?”The ads feature dog and cat characters with bolded headings – one billboard says “She’s Pissed” with a cat that’s got her noise up and in smaller print reads “The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) only gives 1% of its budget to local pet shelters. ”More information about Humane Watch can be found at: http://www.humanewatch.org/.
