The product is waiting for EPA registration

Corteva is bringing a new fungicide product to market.

The manufacturer is launching Forcivo to help corn, soybean, wheat, barley, and other crop producers manage foliar diseases like northern corn leaf spot, stalk rot, white mold, and southern rust.

The product will be premixed and includes three modes of action:

  • Group 3 flutriafol
  • Group 7 fluindapyr
  • Group 11 azoxystrobin

This combination will help farmers protect their crops.

“Forcivo fungicide will give growers a powerful disease management tool that bolsters plant health, pushes yield potential and manages disease resistance,” Mike Eiberger, U.S. Marketing Leader, Corteva, said in a statement. “With the help of Forcivo fungicide, growers will be able to maximize their return on investment (ROI) and grow more yield potential.”

The formulation also provides up to 30-day residual activity for additional protection.

And its use rate of 7 to 9 fluid ounces per acre support cost savings, Eiberger said.

Forcivo still requires registration approval from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Once that occurs, Corteva expects the product to be available for farmers to include in crop management plans in 2026.
