Corteva Agriscience has launched Pioneer brand A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans, available to growers in Eastern Canada.

Featuring varieties exclusive to Pioneer, it combines the company’s world-class genetics of its brand A-Series soybeans—its highest-yielding varieties ever—with Enlist technology, one of the most advanced trait technologies in soybeans.

Available in limited volumes as of September 1, 2022, Pioneer offers 12 different A-Series Enlist E3 soybean varieties across a range of maturities that meet Eastern Canada’s soybean needs, with more varieties being introduced in 2023.

Along with this yield performance, A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans will give farmers improved agronomic traits, including Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) resistance, white mold, Phytophthora, and Sudden Death Syndrome.

“We’re excited to offer Eastern Canadian soybean farmers A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans which are expected to bring a significant boost to yield performance potential with the Enlist E3 soybean trait,” said Jeff Loessin, Seeds Leader, Corteva Agriscience Canada. “That yield potential is then protected by exceptional agronomic characteristics and defensive traits to fight diseases and pests.”

In extensive testing and trials across geographies in 2021, A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans delivered a bushels-per-acre advantage that equates to $32.00/A in potential additional farm income against all competitors. Loessin anticipates that the advantage will only continue to increase.

A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans bring a new generation of yield potential to the Enlist E3 soybean market.

US farmers are already familiar with the Enlist weed control system. With an adoption rate on US soybean acres of greater than 45 percent in 2022, the Enlist weed control system is the industry’s fastest-growing soybean herbicide system, a trend Pioneer expects to continue with the introduction of high-performing A-series Enlist E3 soybeans.

The Enlist weed control system provides a new standard for weed control that delivers on-target applications with enhanced flexibility. The Enlist weed control system will fit a farmer’s herbicide program while providing control of hard-to-control and resistant weeds like Waterhemp, Canada Fleabane, Field horsetail, and many more. Enlist herbicides feature near-zero volatility and reduced potential for physical drift when applied according to label instructions, as well as a wide application window, no calendar cut-off dates, or temperature restrictions.
