NCFC launches search for next leader

The National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (NCFC) is set for a leadership transition with the retirement announcement of its long-standing President and CEO, Charles F. “Chuck” Conner, slated for December 31, 2025.  

Conner has been at the helm for over 15 years, steering NCFC through various advancements and challenges in the agricultural sector.

During his tenure, Conner has been pivotal in shaping NCFC’s strategies to support America’s farmer-owned cooperatives. His advocacy efforts have ensured that agricultural policies reflect the interests of NCFC members, enhancing their operational and economic viability.

NCFC Board Chair Jay Debertin expressed deep gratitude for Conner’s contributions: “Throughout his tenure, Chuck’s leadership has guided the NCFC in adapting to the evolving needs of our member cooperatives and farmers.” This statement underscores the impactful leadership Conner has provided. 

With the retirement phase planned, NCFC has initiated a nationwide search for Conner’s successor, engaging Kincannon & Reed for their expertise in executive placements in the agriculture sector.
