John Rollins, a corn farmer, places a scarecrow in his field to protect his crops from hungry crows and begins to see positive results.
But the scarecrow’s presence also brings the death of several people in the community and complications in John’s marriage.
The farmer realizes the scarecrow is cursed. It will do whatever is necessary – including killing John’s family – to protect the land it oversees and ensure John’s crops reach their full potential.
